Question by : Is it really worth playing poker online?
I’ve been playing 1/2 NL hold em and sometimes 2/4 NL hold em, and in most pots the house is taking . I’m multi-tabling too, playing about 3 tables at a time. The house is just constantly taking in the rake and pulling little by little from every player. I have rakeback too, but it’s only 27% rakeback. In bricks and mortar casinos, they are just absolutely raping you, not to mention you gotta tip the dealer every time you win, so in comparison online poker looks good, but when you think about it, by multitabling, I’m probably contributing more to the rake than if I were playing a single table in a casino. I’m convinced all forms of gambling involving a middle man is a lost cause. In fact, all forms of gambling is just stupid. What do you think?
