Up to 200 strip poker players competed to see who would lose their shirts – and more – and who would scoop £10000 by retaining their clothes and modesty. The inaugural World Strip Poker Championship took place in London with players battling it out in games of “No Limit Texas Hold ‘em”. Players of both sexes from over 12 countries battled it it out for the Golden Fig Leaf trophy and the right to revel in the title of World Strip Poker Champion. Aside from strict rules governing the poker play, there were clear guidelines on the stripping element – most importantly that each player starts the match by wearing five items of clothing supplied by the organisers. “It’s brilliant, I can’t believe I’m in the Guinness World Book of Records, I’m probably the hairiest poker player to get in the Guinness World Records as well,” said the eventual winner John Young. www.itnsource.com Reuters RTV1373006

Great read. If anyones interested in Miss Coren (who isn’t?) and enjoys a good poker book, then her poker/biography is a great read. She spells out how and why she made the moves she did in the EPT.

its a really bad bet on the flop from barny, hes only getting called by a hand thats either beating him or willing to see the river by shoving the flop or turn. If he checks she bets the turn then he shoves into 16 outs against TPTK and wins with a semi-bluff around 80%+. Barny Boatman is decent dont get me wrong but he does some really silly things the wrong way. better to do the wrong thing right than the right thing wrong.
