Question by : Where can I buy professional poker chips that are quite cheap?!?
I’m planning to buy my boyfriend a Jack Daniels poker set to play with his mates! but the only trouble is that the set only comes with 50 black and white chips, a mat, cards, playing book, and a miniture jack daniels whiskey thing! its £25, i don’t have a job so i’m not really one to spend alot of money, but i know that 50 chips are not enough to play with 3-6 people! was wondering how many chips i would need, and i want them to be professional ones because my boyfriend is picky xD haha. but i don’t want mega expensive ones. I am willing to spend £20 at the max =/
I want some chips that i can just buy, the chips, and not the rest of the cards, mat and what not! otherwise theres not much point getting the jack daniels one. xD but he loves jack daniels so i want to get that one!! Anyone know a place that I can either buy online, or buy in the UK?

Real poker chips are made from clay and weigh 11.5 grams each. ebay is the best place to get them. If I was buying some these are the ones I would get:

check out ebay, the offers are constantly changing.
second option would be to check out having them made. many of these favor stores offer custom made chips, you choose the design. maybe you can find one who has a good offer in the uk.
and actually i would just try and get the chips and leave the rest! usually cards like that aren’t very good for playing with and you can’t use for more than 1 or 2 nights. better off investing in some high quality playing cards like copag or kem.
just buy a bottle of JD and have you thought about crafting some stuff yourself? you can easily download pictures from JD, print them out or bring to the copy shop and then paste onto items.
seach google for jack daniel crafts and then check out the picture results.
