Question by Little Wolf: Are there any pokemon online card games?
I know Yu-gi-oh and magic the gathering both have online card games to play but does pokemon have one? I would rather a free one like in one magic the gathering game i remember it gave you a basic deck to play with then you can change that deck as you buy more cards or win more. I just wonder if there is a place I can play people online with cards.

There are not any online Pokemon games online supported by the makers of pokemon. The only thing open to you is called Redshark. It’s a program you download and is user managed. But there are no graphics, it’s all text, and there is no reinforcement to the rules. You can play with other people online but like I said the rules aren’t automated so you and the person you’re playing have to keep track of everything.
It would basically be easier to play in person because you’d get graphics. The only upside to redshark is that you can play other people online and have access to many more pokemon cards than you would have buying booster packs.
