Best way to learn card games is go to yahoo games, choose the game you want then go into a room and create a table, then play the bots(computer), then make the room private so no one joins. You can sit in there and learn at your own pace for however long you want. Just keep another browser open and go to the rules of the game at the lobby page. Just switch back and forth between reading rules and playing the bots until you understand.

@CelloMusic4ever u try n not win any tricks. game goes on till some1 gets over 100, whoever has the fewest points wins, u shoot the moon by getting all hearts n the queen of spades which will get u 0 points while every1 else get 25 points. only hearts n the queen of spades are worth points 1 point per heart, 13 for the queen of spades

i want to play under the rules where the jack of diamonds is equal to -10 points to your score, and the 10 of clubs causes the player who receives it doubles their points for that hand. but I am not sure how the points would add up if someone shot the moon under the rules of those two extra bonus cards.

At 0:58 seconds………….why would’nt you throw out the 8? Your diamonds are well protected by 2, 4, 5. If anything that 8 of clubs is potentially costing you a point or 2 IMO.

“covering” is a tactic where you dont throw your highest hearts card because you think someone is “shooting the moon” which means theyre tryign to collect all the points. you dont throw your highest heart card so that you can prevent them from doing so.

however i hate that strategy.
